If your response to BROAWDSAYD!!! is to deploy a shield and literally just stand in it, well, maybe try not doing that? He takes forever to reload, and the reload projectile is a meme, same with broadside spam. You can literally walk right through his minefields and murder him without consequence. Broadside doesn't do anything until two seconds after it hits the ground. You know precisely how many shots he has left in his tiny magazine at all times. Only if it's a Scuttle DredgeĪll his stuff has very visible tracers. if dredge gets away but your team gets the point, just take the small victory and start positioning to counter him as soon as he pops up again. just push him away to give your team a little break from his area denial and help them wipe out enemy healer. zig-zag vs grenades, circle vs trident, if he switches it up a lot, then youve been fighting him too long and should retreat for a better opportunity. i NEVER EVEER EVER take blast shield unless there are 3 or 4 good AOE enemies, dredge is weak against nimble and life rip because his attack is slow, fused and arches in trajectory, you can outmaneuver the majority of the damage and recover a bit in between. at least if you can push him off for a moment, your teammates can gain an advantage, especially if the enemy team doesnt see you attacking him and assumes he will keep firing grenades. i just stack my soul collector marks, pop invisible and get into a nice spot to attack from. also, if you can gifgure out where he like to put his teleport exit, you can pretty much demolish him since they usually assume nobody will know. dredge players usually hyperfocus on a single area, so he is susceptible to le sneakiness. I think some of his cards are really lackluster and isn't worth spending points on, while others could use a buff to make certain playstyles or builds to be useful. I'll just say the same card buffs I said in another thread.
